Socks Construction was founded in the late 1960s in Southeast Michigan by brothers John Socks Sr. & Rich Socks Sr. During the housing market crash of the late 2000s, John Socks, Charlie Socks & David Socks brought Socks Construction to Traverse City where they have become a staple in real estate development and construction.

In 2016, Socks Construction partnered with Component Construction Systems (CCS) and shifted their on-site construction method to incorporate component construction technology.  Today, this partnership offers turn key services to any project or client.

CCS was founded in 2016 by Michael Sherman in Traverse City, MI.

Socks Construction & CCS is headquartered in Traverse City, MI.

Socks Construction will celebrate 20 years of service to the greater Traverse City area this summer.
